The website is source-reviewed against current authoritative guidance. An independent named clinician reviewer has not yet been appointed for the public launch version.
Current status
External clinician review: Pending
Do not display a physician name, board certification, “medically reviewed by” badge, or endorsement until that clinician has actually reviewed and approved the content.
Recommended reviewer
A board-certified gastroenterologist with current colorectal cancer screening and colonoscopy practice experience is the preferred lead reviewer. Depending on scope, pathology content may also benefit from gastrointestinal pathology review.
Suggested review workflow
- Reviewer evaluates each clinical page and interactive tool.
- Changes are logged with source and date.
- Reviewer approves a version/date rather than an open-ended endorsement.
- Major guideline updates trigger re-review.
- Medical corrections are published promptly and recorded in the editorial log.
Until external review is complete: the site should continue to describe itself as educational and evidence-informed rather than “doctor approved.”
